Job Description

We are hiring a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Critical Care (Nursing) for one of our clients in Utica, NY.

Job Description:

• Unit: Critical Care Float Pool
• Floating Required: Yes - THIS IS A FLOAT POSITION
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Common Patient Diagnosis: euro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx
• Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 42 beds

Submission Requirements:

• WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate will apply (less than 75 miles)
• Can be floated to any unit within the hospital except for Psych and ED (unless it is to manage holds)
• Will have to float to MS and take an assignment that could include 6-7 patients
• 2+ years experience - ICU
• BLS, ACLS , NIH required
• Active NY RN license required at time of submission
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with all active RN licenses
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR: Epic

• Shift: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
