Civil Litigation Attorney
Location: Wake Forest, North Carolina Practice Area: Civil Litigation

Summary:
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team across North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex civil litigation matters relating to personal injury, civil rights, employment law, and/or insurance law from inception through trial or resolution.

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of civil litigation including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and hearings.

Draft and respond to complaints, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.

Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients on case strategy and risk assessment.

Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active and in good standing with the North Carolina Bar .

Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil litigation ; trial experience is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of North Carolina rules of civil procedure, court systems, and litigation processes.

Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently.

Preferred Experience Areas:

Personal injury, Employment law, Insurance defense or coverage disputes, Real estate or landlord-tenant disputes, Civil Rights

Compensation and Benefits:

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, with bonus potential
