Salary: $104,000 - 156,000 per year Requirements:

• I am looking for candidates with experience and training in Army strategic planning. A Master's degree paired with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience is mandatory. Alternatively, I will consider three additional years of experience along with a BA/BS, or six years of experience without a BA/BS to substitute for the degree. Preference will be given to those who have graduated from an Army War College. I require direct experience in communicating complex technologies to senior leaders, familiarity with defense software development processes, and background in facilitating senior leader forums to independently assess program technologies. Additionally, candidates must have an active security clearance at the Secret level, and US citizenship is required for obtaining this clearance.

• In this role, I expect you to review Army, Joint, and OSD strategic planning documents to assist in drafting guidance for the PEO/PMs. You will help develop inputs and responses to Army taskers concerning strategic planning documents. It will be your duty to provide training and professional development for the PEO portfolio, including organizing monthly Engineering Huddles. Furthermore, you will offer technical expertise across PEO-wide contracts, which includes authoring Performance Work Statements (PWSs), developing requirements, and creating Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs). You will also be expected to provide subject matter expertise for challenged programs by regularly updating the PEO on program statuses. Additional systems engineering oversight for Program Managers will be needed as directed by the PEO, including reliability program oversight. You will contribute technical expertise to PEO public affairs materials such as conference briefs, articles, and interview talking points. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

This position is part-time, and the target compensation ranges from $50 to $75 per hour, depending on your experience. Please note that the role entails physical demands such as the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and the capacity to stand, walk, twist, bend, and squat for extended periods.
