Job Description

POSITION: DEALER
DEPARTMENT:
TABLE GAMES
REPORTS TO: TABLE GAMES DIRECTOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must read, fully understand and adhere to all Table Game procedures and comply with the MICS
  • Responsible for creating a friendly environment at the table for the customer
  • Responsible for relating to all players with courtesy, diplomacy and respect
  • Ability to conduct the game according to standards set forth in the Table Games procedures for Havasu Landing Casino
  • All paperwork is to be completed accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Havasu Landing Casino policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be age 21 or older and qualify for a gaming license
  • High school diploma or GED preferred and be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace
  • Customer relations ability is essential and must be able to remain calm and maintain concentration under pressure
  • Minimum of one year experience dealing in a Casino environment
  • Cannot be colorblind
  • Position requires standing for long periods, finger dexterity and grasping, repetitive motions, bending and reaching.
  • Must be available to work any shift
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
PUBLIC RELATIONS:
Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino and Hotel, along with the official performance of duties, are personal appearance and public relations. Each employee is expected to make every effort to be well-informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, and cooperative, and to act in a manner to command respect of co-workers and all other personnel. An optimistic attitude, patience and tolerance will help each employee in nearly all situations at the casino.
