Role: Scrum Master/ Technical Project Manager

Location: Elk Grove, CA

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Coach and Mentor Teams: Guide the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices, providing coaching and support to improve self-organization and efficiency.
• Remove Roadblocks: Identify and resolve issues that prevent the team from achieving their goals, helping to ensure the team can maintain momentum throughout sprints.
• Foster Collaboration: Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, facilitating communication between cross-functional teams.
• Track Progress: Use Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps) to track team progress, sprint metrics, and release schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Help teams identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for how to improve processes, delivery, and overall team performance.

Technical Project Management Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Oversee and manage project timelines, scope, and resources. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and leadership to gather requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential issues on the project timeline and quality.
• Manage Scope: Ensure the project scope aligns with business objectives, managing changes effectively and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality standards are met and that all deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet the agreed-upon specifications.
