Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Safety Systems Administrator to manage and maintain critical systems supporting public safety operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and possess the necessary certifications. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure system reliability and security. Candidates must also pass a background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain public safety systems, including Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), and other specialized applications.
• Ensure system compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with public safety departments to identify and implement system improvements.
• Manage system integrations and data transfers securely and efficiently.
• Provide technical support and training to public safety personnel.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and backups to ensure data integrity and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to undergo and pass a background check.
