What  you will do:

• Foster and maintain excellent working relationships internally with project manager and outside sales representatives  
• Communicates with suppliers to discuss material specifications, clarifies, and confirms bill of materials, negotiates pricing, and identifies alternatives for special or custom orders 
• Determine costs and sell amounts to maintain appropriate margins  
• Effectively review and evaluate electrical drawings and specifications 
• Review and input formal quotes accurately
• Identifies potential projects for bid and compiles list of material requirements including, supplies, switchgear, and other distribution apparatuses 
• Ensure bid is inclusive of all mandatory requirements  
• Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships  
• Stay current with new product information and emerging technologies  
• Communicate with customers to resolve problems with projects during the bidding process 
• Follows-up on open and outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers to determine status 
• Communicate with vendors, account executives, and outside sales reps to ensure quotes and resulting orders are complete. 
• Work in a fast-paced team environment

What  you will bring:

• Switchgear quotation experience with medium to large sized projects
• Familiarity with Eaton & Siemens product lines
• 3-5 years’ experience quoting medium to large projects
• Experience using Bidman & Compas - preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
• Good and dependable mathematic skills  
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills  
• Reliable, responsible, organized, detail-oriented and a great work ethic 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• The ability to sit, stand, and walk for the full length of the assigned shift. 
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.  
• This job is performed within an office, retail, and light industrial environment.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually based on experience

Location: Delran, NJ

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 – 4:30pm
