Adelphi is seeking a Rheumatologist to provide care to patients at a facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Commitment to academic excellence, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations of patients with rheumatologic disorders. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and guidelines. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and joint aspirations. Initiate and/or recommend medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatment and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Participate in academic activities, such as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to research projects and clinical trials. Participate in quality improvement activities. Perform and/or participate in any administrative duties which may be ancillary to the providing of clinical care, as necessary to perform professional functions. Comply with all applicable laws and canons of professional ethics. Maintain a practice of medicine consistent with recognized standards of medical care and perform all activities in accordance with those standards.
