Job Summary

We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Pharmacist to play a pivotal role in enhancing patient health outcomes through the strategic implementation of healthcare initiatives. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensuring clinical pharmacy service compliance, and driving financial performance through effective program execution. You'll also be a key contributor to our remote prescription processing operations.

This position offers a unique opportunity to build strong relationships within the medical community, serving as a trusted representative and liaison. As a subject matter expert, you'll provide invaluable support and resources to fellow pharmacists and field leaders. Staying current with industry trends and maintaining licensure are essential components of this role.

Job Responsibilities

Patient Care and Program Implementation:
Implement and manage direct patient care programs, including Medication Therapy Management, Immunization Services, and payer/pharmaceutical adherence and clinical programs.
Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects to meet evolving business needs.
Quality and Compliance:
Promote compliance and continuous quality improvement in clinical pharmacy patient care by analyzing, evaluating, and redesigning processes.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and FDA regulations.
Financial Performance:
Contribute to regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with financial goals.
Implement and execute patient intervention programs to maximize reimbursements.
Patient Experience:
Enhance the patient experience by focusing on healthcare services, including patient consultations, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and wellness services.
Leadership and Support:
Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership.
Support staff training and development opportunities, fostering teamwork and motivating pharmacy staff.
Clinical Review and Consultation:
Conduct data and clinical reviews to ensure medication accuracy and appropriateness.
Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure safe drug therapy and provide individualized consultations.
Win patient trust through active listening, and providing excellent customer service.
Provide feedback on customer retention programs.
Handle all patient therapy questions and issues.
Provide clinical consultation to patients, doctors, and insurance plans.
Operational Excellence:
Perform other duties consistent with job responsibilities as assigned.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and HIPAA guidelines.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws.
What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
Current Pharmacist license in the appropriate state.
Experience motivating team members to resolve issues.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and escalate issues when necessary.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses.
Knowledge of insurance plans.
Familiarity with pharmacy computer operating systems (e.g., Intercom, Promise, Plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
