The Bloom Organization is a preeminent and rapidly growing investment banking firm focused on the healthcare services and business services sectors. Founded in 1993, we bring over 30 years of experience advising founder-led and private equity-backed companies on sell-side and strategic M&A transactions across the lower middle market.

About the Role

We are seeking 1–2 driven and talented Analysts or Associates to join our team and support execution across live healthcare and business services mandates. This role offers significant deal exposure, the chance to work closely with senior leadership, and an opportunity to build a career within a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

You will be involved in financial modeling, market research, due diligence, and client communications — all while gaining deep industry knowledge and honing your investment banking skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support deal execution by building and maintaining detailed financial models
  • Draft client presentations, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), buyer lists, and management presentations
  • Conduct deep market research across a wide range of healthcare and business services subsectors, identifying trends, transaction activity, and potential buyer/investor targets
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts with clients, buyers, and external advisors
  • Assist with buyer outreach and help manage transaction timelines and communications
  • Maintain internal deal tracking and CRM databases

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, transaction advisory/quality of earnings, corporate development, or healthcare/business services buy-side or business development roles
  • Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university
  • CFA, CPA, MBA, Series 7, 63, or 79 a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CapIQ, Pitchbook, and CRM tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-output, deadline-driven environment with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in healthcare services preferred, especially multi-site, provider-based businesses
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • Team-oriented with a high degree of intellectual curiosity, professionalism, and drive
