Technical Inside Sales opportunity

This US Subsidiary of a German manufacturer of planetary gearboxes is in Charlotte, NC and is looking for a Technical Inside Sales candidate.

What you will do:

• Provide commercial and technical quotations
• Offer technical support to customers and customer service
• Application engineering, analyze and size gearboxes based on customer project requirements
• Troubleshooting gearbox related problems by phone and on-site
• Technical outside sales support for our sales partner
• Provide product training to customers
• Review customer requirements and provide application assistance to the customer
• Attend and work at trade shows

What we are looking for:

• Some college degree is a plus, Associate and/or bachelor’s degree
• Experience in order processing and creation of sales quotations
• 1-2 years’ experience in sales of technical products
• Good English knowledge (read, write and speak)
• Experience with ERP systems preferred and MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Customer and service orientation
• Basic knowledge in most common types of gearboxes
• Basic knowledge in purchase order / sales order agreements
• Excellent communication skills and social interaction with others
• Willingness to travel occasionally
