Furniture Repair Technician (Full Time) Department: Repair Are you mechanically inclined? Do you like to solve puzzles? Do you have a strong attention to detail? Are you not afraid to fail? Homemakers is looking for a person who has a good attention to detail and likes to tinker. Our Furniture Repair team will be providing service inside our customers homes. *We will train the right candidate who has transferable skills Pay: $21.00 per hour Work schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 7:30 am-4:00 pm Job Summary: Repairs, touches up, replace parts and rebuilds all furniture products including but not limited to case goods, upholstery and bedding. Repairs all furniture merchandise to a sellable condition. Generally, works with smaller repairs. This includes repairing tops, mixing custom stains for color matching, stripping and finishing, building or rebuilding a product, using larger/more complex power tools. Job Requirements: Insurable and able to drive a company vehicle Technical or Trade School a plus but not required Furniture Repair experience a plus but not required Strong customer service Warehouse experience a plus Will drive company vehicle to repair furniture in customer's home.
