Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Project Manager who can manage all aspects of multi-channel and service client projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams while strategically contributing to project and workflow efficiencies. You will ensure all project deliverables are of high-quality, completed on time and on budget, and are aligned with the brand’s goals. Our client is a high-profile automotive company across strategy, digital, video, content creation, point of purchase and print. This role pays $55/hr Hybrid: 3 days in Long Beach, CA office, 2 days at home Duration: July/August thru December: This role is covering a maternity leave

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Appropriately prioritize and manage the workflow internally and externally with the client. Ensure that project scopes are accounted for within the schedule and clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects. Manage day-to-day tasks, including proactive identification of potential challenges, and ensuring on-time project deliverables Motivate project teams across disciplines to create a collaborative environment and challenge them to produce great work. Assign individual resource responsibilities and help identify the proper resources needed across project types. Lead project status meetings for internal and external teams. Strong communication skills and ability to escalate matters to Program Manager / Account leadership related to project status and deliverables. Deliver a variety of deliverables in the digital, asset production, video, content creation and print space that is exceptional, on time, and on budget. Gain alignment on the scope, schedule, assumptions, and cost for projects with an ability to effectively translate these to Client Proposals and Statements of Work. Partner with Account Management to manage scope, finding solutions for challenges, and optimize for continued account growth. Assist Account Management in budgeting tasks such as creation of estimates, scope of work and budget tracking. Responsible for building detailed project plans, creating timelines, initiating project start-up, effectively, and reporting on project status, burn rates, budgets, and reconciliations to agency and client stakeholders. Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on project management experience in advertising or marketing communications in a client-facing role. Proven track record in driving creative solutions and multiple disciplines of content creation. Experience working with Global and remote teams preferred. Excellent relationship team building and client-facing skills. Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company, external partners, and clients. Experience with common project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft Suite. Conscientious and adept at problem-solving through critical thinking. Comfortable working with various teams, participating in client meetings, tailoring communications based on audience and level. Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and effective communication skills (both verbal and writing). Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
