Position Title: Equity Plan Administration Specialist

Position Summary: District Partners has been engaged by a top tier professional services firm—an employer of choice—to help them recruit an Equity Plan Administrative Specialist (Specialist) to their growing team. The Specialist supports private company clients by managing cap tables and equity compensation plans. Responsibilities include onboarding clients, tracking equity ownership changes, administering equity plans, and ensuring compliance with corporate actions.

Our client offers a very flexible work-from-home environment. To qualify, however, candidates must live within normal commuting distance to one of their 10+ offices for the off chance they may be requested to go into the office (rarely, if ever).

Responsibilities:

• Onboard clients to a capitalization management platform.
• Maintain accurate cap tables for equity ownership (shares, options, warrants, etc.).
• Track equity changes (issuances, transfers, conversions).
• Administer equity compensation plans (grants, exercises, vesting).
• Assist with equity-related documents (option agreements, RSU grants).
• Ensure adherence to firm-wide cap table management standards.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• 2+ years in corporate finance, venture capital, or related field
• Experience with cap table platforms (e.g., Carta, Pulley) and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of equity ownership and securities.

• Familiarity with SEC regulations (e.g., Rule 701, Rule 144).
