Job Summary:

The Punch Carpenter is responsible for performing physical/demanding labor on each job site. Tasks include drywall repairs, rough and trim carpentry repairs, cleaning, paint touch-ups, appliance installs and adjustments, misc. trim adjustments, and general punch as needed for a successful project finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to execute all frame to finish carpentry at an advanced skill level.
  • Loads and unloads equipment, tools, and other building materials.
  • Uses hand tools and operates power tools to complete assigned projects as necessary, and in accordance with all regulations.
  • Consistently maintains safety standards on the job site.

Qualifications:

  • Team-player, who also works effectively and efficiently independently.
  • Preserves an organized and clean working environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Ability to operate small equipment such as a Skid steer or forklift is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel to and from jobs and training sessions. Must have a vehicle or means of transportation between project sites.
