The Title Clerk at Scott Honda supports the accounting team by processing all documents required for legal transfer of ownership through the Department of Motor Vehicles as well as other general accounting processes and duties. Benefits: * 401(k) Matching * Life Insurance * Short Term Disability * Paid Time Off for Holidays, Vacation and Birthday * Day shift/ Monday to Friday (Flexible) * Title Clerk: 2 years (Preferred) A typical day might include the following * Evaluate all costs and paperwork associated to a vehicle transaction to ensure accuracy * Prepare tax and title documents for registration in the state in which they will be titled * Submit all paperwork to the Department of Motor Vehicles * Prepare payoff checks for new vehicle and trade-ins * Bill out all dealer trades and prepare Certificate of Origin * Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work * Stays abreast of title regulations. Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations Who you are: * You are detail oriented and build process and systems to ensure productivity * You enjoy managing a lot of information and are very organized * You are resourceful and can get the information you need to solve problems * Ideally you are familiar with title work and responsibilities within a dealership.
